Rollins Lake Campgrounds

Rollins Lake is located along the Bear River just a couple of miles north of Colfax. Most of the campgrounds are operated by the Nevada Irrigation District (NID). Greenhorn Campground is privately owned, but open to the public. At an elevation of 2,300 feet, the lake enjoys a long season. The lake is popular for water skiing, boating, fishing, swimming, and camping.

Long Ravine at Rollins Lake is located on a peninsula on the eastern side of the lake.

Orchard Springs Campground

Orchard Springs Resort is located on the west shore of Rollins Lake, off Highway 174 via Orchard Springs Road. They are open year-round.

Peninsula Family Camping

Peninsula Family Camping is on a peninsula on the northeast side of Rollins Lake. The campground is open during the spring and summer seasons. Reservations can be made beginning in January. The resort has over 300 acres. To reach the lake, take You Bet Road off Highway 174, 7 miles north of Colfax. Follow You Bet Road for 4.3 miles and then turn right when you see a sign that says You Bet Road/Rollins Lake. After 3.1 miles you arrive at the campground.

Greenhorn Campground

Greenhorn Campground is located on the northwest side of the lake. To reach the campground take Greenhorn Access Road off Highway 174 and follow the road to the campground.
