Stampede, Prosser, and Boca Reservoirs Campgrounds

The three reservoirs are located north of Truckee. Boca and Prosser reservoirs are only about 10 minutes from Truckee, while much larger Stampede Reservoir is about a half hour drive. All three areas are close to fishing, water skiing, OHV areas, historic trails, horseback riding, and swimming.

Campgrounds around Boca Reservoir are more out in the open with little shade, while Prosser Reservoir campgrounds and Stampede Reservoir campgrounds offer more shade. Boyington Mill Campground is located away from the reservoirs along the scenic Little Truckee River. Campsites there have ample shade trees.
