Lake Valley Reservoir Campgrounds
Lake Valley Reservoir is owned by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The beautiful lake is located about 2 miles south of Interstate 80 at Yuba Gap. There is a 10 MPH speed limit on the lake.
The lake is popular for kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, swimming, and fishing. Picnic areas are found on the northwest end of the lake and at nearby Kelly Lake. Kelly Lake is open to non-motorized boating.
300-acre Lake Valley Reservoir is popular with kayakers because of its glassy morning water and beautiful setting. Water is drawn down severely in the fall.
Nearby Snowflower RV Resort and Campground is a private facility open to the public, offering RV and tent camping.

Lodgepole Campground
Located on Lake Valley Reservoir, 2.7 miles south of Interstate 80 at Yuba Gap. Lodgepole Campground, at an elevation of 5,800 feet, is operated by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The campground is usually open from mid-May to mid-October.

Snowflower RV Resort and Campground
Located off Interstate 80 at Lake Valley Road and then Crystal Lake Road. Popular activities are fishing, swimming, kayaking, bicycling, and hiking. Resort amenities include a clubhouse, swimming pool, boat docks and marina, laundry, playground, tennis courts, pickleball and much more. The resort features RV and trailer sites, tent camping, cottages, cabins, and yurts.
